For the Anon who asked me to write about Aloy in her appartement in Meridian !


It’s quiet.

For once Aloy don’t constantly hear the sound of the city, the sound of the machines or the people outside.

All she hear is your breath.

After defending the city of Meridian against Hades and The eclipse, something was missing from her.

Aloy don’t really had the time to rest.

All of her life she fought for something. At first it was winning the proving. After that avenging Rost. And then discover who her mother was white saving the world.

She readjust herself in the bed while looking at your sleeping face.

She’s drawn to you and your peaceful expression. Careful as not to wake you up she caress your check with a soft smile.

It was not simple for her to just relax. You salut it in every restaure she made, she was tense. Always ready for a battle or for the eclipse to come back and destroy her life.

“ Aloy you can’t let yourself be drown in the past. It’s been month, you deserve a rest. ”

That’s what you said to her a few weeks ago. It began with small changes. Her box and Spears were always close but she don’t flinch at every noise like a threat was coming.

Her behavior was softer now. She often stopped was she was ding to just look at you and out if the blue tell you she loves you.

All was well now.

Aloy still has a lot to work trough. She drill dream of Rost. She drill think of her mother and how she will always be different from others.

But that’s okay she thinks while caressing tour hair.

Because here, with you, she felt safe and loved.

Aloy bend a little over the bed. You live a little but star asleep. The redhead kiss your forehead tenderly.

“ Thank you for everything. I couldn’t be more happier now. I’ll always love you. ”

It’s the first time someone complimented my writing about aloy ! Since I get so few feedback I decided to write less about Aloy, even if she’s my favorite game character. But if you want I could start to write more, It’s funny I replayed the game not long ago. So yes I will write your request very soon :3

What the media preaches and what the cosmetic industry preaches as problems are in fact normal, perfectly okay, not problematic at all, and part of every normal and beautiful body out there.

Bodies have stretch marks.

Bodies with breasts have breasts that sag because they’re heavy sacks of glands, fat, and tissue which move down with gravity. The only people who don’t have sagging breasts are people with very small breasts. 

Bodies having stomachs. Some are larger than others. Some overhang. Some are flatter than others. But everyone has a stomach and a larger, softer stomach which does not lie flat is not a problem that needs solving with surgery or dangerous dieting.

Bodies having fat underneath chins, you have to have very little fat on your face not to have visible softness underneath your chin and jaw. 

Bodies that have given birth will have larger stretch marks, will have lose skin and that is not a problem that needs solving, it’s just evidence of that body having carried a baby to term. 

Bodies have large arms and small arms.

Some bodies have big hips, some have small hips, some have small butts and some have big butts. These are all variations that are normal and perfectly beautiful.

Most thighs touch, this does not need to be solved. 

People have fat under their arms. People have all sorts of bodily proportions.

These things which we’re told we have to change, that we need surgery for or to diet in an extreme way for or need to go to the gym every day for, are natural and exist on every goddamn body out there and I am fed up of people, especially people with bodies which are already considered ‘perfect’ by the media promoting damaging products, damaging ideas, and damaging ideals which convince people that their body is a problem that needs solving. 

The only problem that needs solving are these vapid, harmful ideas and the people who promote them without caring how harmful they bloody can be, while simultaneously pretending they’re body positive.

In The Moment

Pairing : Reader x Aloy

Genre : Fluff / romance

You were friend with Aloy despite her being an outcast and you being in the Nora tribe. When Bast throw her that rock years ago, you couldn’t believe how cruel he was just because someone said this child was different.

You happenend to be there and after Bast left, you get down the hill quickly to apologize to the other child.

When you get in front of Aloy, you can see that she don’t trust you, she seem hyper vigilant of your movements.

“ I love your hair, it’s very pretty. ” you extend you hand in front of you for her to shake. “ I’m sorry about Bast he’s stupid. I’m Y/N ”

Aloy look at you curiously before taking your hand and answer carefully. “ I’m Aloy. ”

After that it took you a little while to become friends with Aloy. She was vigilant around you, almost scared of what you would do to her. But every evening you escaped from the village and came to see her.

After months, Aloy started to trust you and you became friends. The years after that were wonderful. Aloy teached you how to hunt, climb.

The two of you grow very close. Every days was happy with Aloy. Until she lost Rost.

Aloy was crushed after his loss. She didn’t take time to rest or mourn. She just went on fighting.

And you knew she would put herself in danger, of course she would. So you came along. You knew that leaving the Nora, you will probable become an outcast. But you weren’t afraid. If Aloy taught you one thing it was to be brave.

Aloy meant everything to you, and you had no doubt your family wouldn’t forget you even if you became an outcast.

Month later you’re still with Aloy in her quest for the truth.

“ So how shall we do this ? ”

Aloy and you were currently talking about retaking an eclipse camp. It was a very big one but it also had answer about project zero dawn and Hades.

Aloy explain her plan to you.

“ We’ll have to infiltrate from this tunnel there, and be stealthy about this whole thing. If they ring the alarm we’re dead. ”

You chuckle nervously “ A piece of cake really. ”

Aloy frown a little “ If you don’t want to do this, it’s okay, I can do this alone. ”

You get up and grab your bow and spear. “ I know you can, but there’s no way I’ll let you go into that hell hole without someone to watch your back ”

Aloy was stronger in close combat, while you were better from a distance. You knew how to defend  yourself, but shooting with a bow was easy to you. You prided  yourself to be able to strike from a huge distance.

So the two of you worked perfectly in combat.

Aloy get up from her spot next to the fire camp and folow you. Outside of the eclipse camp, you notice the tunnel and let Aloy get in first.

The tunnel is narrow, so you have to bend a little. It’s very uncomfortable and your weapons keep getting in your way. You see that Aloy had no problem moving and you silently curse her agility.

You hear voices up ahead the tunnel and you don’t even have time to panick that Aloy push you against a near alcove hidden partially in the darkness. Her body is pressed against yours and her palm is warm against your lips.

Three eclipse guard walk past were the two of you are hidding. Aloy remove her hand from your mouth, but doesn’t get away from you.

She seem conflicted, and her gaze linger on your lips a moment longer that it had to be. Your body feels hot suddendly and you want to push the redhead away, embarassed by your reaction.

But the guards are still not far away from your position and you canot risk this entiere operation for your stupid  crush for her.

The chatter of the guards die after a few minutes that felt like hours to you. Aloy let go of you and avoid your eyes, to keep walking down the tunnel.

The two of you reach the end of the tunnel, and take cover hidden in bush. The camp is huge but there is less guards than Aloy anticipated.

You shoot the guard closer to the alarm, and then the rest of the sect members. Aloy make her way through their camp silently, killing guards one by one.

Soon the camp is empty and victory is gained for you and Aloy.

That night, after your new discovery and the wreckage of the camp, You and Aloy were both exhausted. You ate dinner with the leftover of a rabbit Aloy killed this morning.

When you went to bed, it was awkward to say the least. To travel lighter you only packed one sleeping bag. It wasn’t a problem before. You were close to Aloy and she didn’t mind sleeping next to you either. You were a close friend for her after all.

But after today and the tense situation in the tunnel, you couldn’t sleep. And neither could Aloy apparently. She turn around again, and you did the same.

Now you’re face to face avoiding eye contact.

Aloy speaks first “ About earlier…- I’m not sorry and I’m not embarassed. I want you to understand that I care deeply for you, more than a friend. ”

You’re speechless for a while. Aloy rarely talk about her emotions. But you answer with calm and honesty “ Well we can try to take our relationship on the next level, I’ve been carrying a torch for you for decades. ”

Aloy smile, and it’s one of her rarest smile, bright and dripping with hapinesss. You get close to her and whisper with a little bit of sarcasm. “ Good night angel. ”

Aloy frown deeply “ Ugh do not call me that. ”

You laugh while saying “ Understood. ” You got quieter and Aloy close her eyes, before taking your hand in her. You look at her fondly for an instant before closing your eyes too and drifting to sleep.

Another Life

Pairing : Reader x Aloy

Genre : Romance / Angst

Aloy couldn’t believe she fell into the trap. She always told herself she was strong enough and wouldn’t fall in love.

But she fell hard for you.

Aloy was a guard for Avad now. After all the problems  with Hades solved, she wanted to take it easy and rest a little. Staying at the same place and working a job simple for her was relaxing.

Of course sometimes Aloy got bored. She was made for living adventures after all. And there wasn’t much to live in Meridian. So when everyone else got back home to their family after a long day, the redhead busy herself out in the wilderness.

She hunted and killed machines too close to the city.

And one day, when she get back to Meridian, she saw you.

You were busy yourself, selling some marchandise. Your shop wasn’t famous apparently, very few people stopped by.

“ Filthy Carja. ”

You get shoved by a man, who get past you. You just lower your head and wait for him to pass to continue to sell your goods.

Aloy noticed  how frail you were and how saw you looked. She felt pity at first. How could something like that happened in Meridian ?

But then she though bitterly of her own clan. It happened everywhere.

Aloy walk toward you, and stop in front of your shop.

“ How much does it cost ? ”

You raise your head, to ask with hope “ The apple Ma’am ? ”

Aloy forget to breathe for a second. You were stunning. Even with such simplicity, with sun burns on your skin and trace of fatigue on your face, you were just beautiful.

She hesitate  for a while “ Yeah the apple. ”

You nod your  head and offer the stranger a smile “ That would be one shard. ”

Aloy frown. “ One shard ? It’s merely enough, Here take three. ”

You shake your head, clearly embarassed. “ Oh I cannot accept, one shard is more than sufficient. ”

Aloy drop the money in your hand. “ Just take it. ”

She then take the apple and start to leave, embarassed by her behavior. She wanted to compliment you, not come off as rude…

“ Thank you very much Ma’am ! ”

Aloy can’t keep herself from smiling and she say while walking away “ And you can call me Aloy ! ”

From that day on, Aloy came by every morning and every evening. As time pass by she grew more confident around you and talked to you about everything. How her day went, what she was going to hunt later.

And for you, it was a break from the bullying and the sadness of Meridian. You loved the time you spend with Aloy.

One day, the two of you were outside the city. You decided to go out a little and Aloy came along. Now you were both sitting by the edge of a river, watching the city from a far.

Everything was quiet and you really enjoyed taking the time to relax with Aloy.
“ It seem really peaceful from here. ”

Aloy turn to look at you. You seem sad, nostalgic almost.

“ I know it’s difficult, but not everyone is narrow minded like there. ”

You stop looking at Meridian to gaze at Aloy a smile on your face “ I know that now thanks to you. ”

Aloy was burning to tell you how she felt, how she wanted to take you in her arms, to kiss you, to protect you. But all she managed to say was.

“ You know I don’t dislike you ? ”

She was already embarassed by that sentence, what would it be if she was to tell you that you stole her heart ?

You laugh a little “ I don’t dislike you either. ” you take Aloy hand in yours, and ignore her surprised look to admire the river again.

“ It’s getting late, let’s go. ”

Aloy help you to stand, her hand still in yours. You can’t help but sigh. You don’t want to leave yet. You don’t want to get back to your annoying life.

When you get back to Meridian, you can feel the stares of the citizen, judging you. And also Aloy.

“ A guard with a Carja ? ”

“ Did she have to aim so low ? ”

You were used to getting this kind of treatment from your peers. And you knew Aloy was an outcast in the Nora tribe. She didn’t deserve this. She deserved to find her place and be happy. Like she was in Meridian.

You drop her hand and without a word or a glance for Aloy you get back home.

The next day, you didn’t show up neither at your rendez vous point, and neither at the market. Aloy was distressed, and she didn’t know where you lived. Of course she could track you with her foccus but that wouldn’t be fair to you.

The redhead didn’t see  you for three days. And in that time she realized  how meaningless life was without you. Without the prospect of seeing you before or after her work.

But that night, you waited for her at the river.

Aloy hurried to you, and took you in her arms. She was so relieved to see you again.

“ Y/N please don’t do this again. ”

She meant to continue but she stops talking when she see your face. You’re pale, and tears roll down your cheeks.

“ I’m so sorry Aloy. ”

The redhead start to panick and look at your figure for any injury but she find nothing. “ For what Y/n ? ”

“ I can’t be with you anymore. Everyone will hate you, and I don’t want that. ”

Aloy let you go. You obviously don’t want her to touch you… You know Aloy very well so you know what she start to think.

“ I love you ” You say. Your voice crack and tears flow for good. “ I love you so much, but we can’t ”

Aloy is paralyzed. Even with everything going on she never saw you cry and she don’t know how to react. “Y/N. ” When you refuse to meet her eyes she cup your face in her hands.

Aloy speak softly “ Y/n look at me. ” you raide your E/C eyes sadly and the redhead continue “ You mean the word to me, we can just leave Meridian. ”

You shake your head, her hands following the motion. “ I can’t live like that, you know it. Besides you like it here. ”

Aloy doesn’t know what to say, what could she say to change your mind ? You were so stubborn… To her surprise, she starts to cry too.

You feel the need to comfort her. “ Aloy it’s okay. It’s going to be okay I promise. ” But it’s not. Everything is wrong. You felt your heart tore to piece when you force Aloy to let you go, and you only take her hand.

You love her so much. This situation was so cruel. You speak softly.

“ In another life. ” Voice cracking as E/c eyes threatened to spill with tears. “ In another life, things are going to work out for us. There won’t be any duties, or anything to keep us apart. ”

You let go of Aloy hand and start walking back to Meridian.

“ In another life. ” The echo was melancholy as you walk apart.

The next day Aloy didn’t show up for duty, and you found a note attached to your shop, along with a map drawn by hand.

“ Meet me to our another life ”
